With a background in social psychology, our founder has always been fascinated by relationships—but it wasn’t until becoming a dog mam to two disabled lurchers that this connection became truly profound.
Cricket, who lives with dwarfism and cataracts, and Nessie, who is missing her front right paw, share a love that is nothing short of extraordinary. Despite their challenges, their loyalty, resilience, and affection for one another—and for their human—showed just how deep and powerful the canine–human bond can be. Together, they became a family strengthened by understanding, trust, and unconditional love.
